Learnt a lot about video camera resolution for film and broadcast today.
Harry 老师教了我们好多好多重要的知识。(Mr. Harry imparting to us a lot of useful information)
教到这样!(Teach until like that)
Finally got a proper lesson on this as compared to DVPT which was too fast paced that I barely remember any of that stuff. The difference in SD formats, PAL and NTSC and also the difference between HD formats, interlaced and progressive. We also dove into a little bit into the 3D world which was really interesting. AWESOME!!
So in the end, the battle for digital space rages on. (Better quality calls for more memory space) "May the odds be ever in your favor"
Okay enough of that. Haha!
Really looked forward to tonighttttttssss.......
GIANT'S GAME!
First ever baseball game in my life! Super excited! Even though its a pre-season game, tones of Giants' fans came to support their home team! You can really feel the spirit of the sport and how it unites its people together to root for their home team!
ARE YOU READYYYYY????!!!!!
Check out the ball park! Whoohoo!
A high school band opened the night with the national anthem of america after observing a one minutes silence in respect of the school shooting that happened in Oakland just this morning.
The team line-ups for the first inning of the game! Even though we're only here for 2 months, I feel so connected to the Giant's! When everyone cheers for each player, I cheered too!
But you can really hear the crowd cheer for Buster Posey as its his first game after returning from an injury in the previous season. What a warm welcome back by the people!
So as the game went on, I learnt more about it from Harry, Steve and Lionel (he knows how softball is played so its similar). The rules of the game, different terms such as balls, strikes, bases, outs and of course home runs!
After an intense game which only started to get exciting after the 5th inning, it ended off perfectly with BRIAN WILSON NO.38! He's the all-star, game closing pitcher with a very intimidating beard. FEAR THE BEARD!
When you hear the entire stadium cheering after the last strike-out, man we all cheered harder than national day (whoops!) It was so exciting!! Our one and only baseball game that we get to watch here and they won. 4 : 1. \m/ totally awesome \m/
What an exhilarating baseball game! Never knew it would be this fun to watch one! Considering the fact that we don't even support out local soccer league. (oops)
The weather was cold though! Shivering in my seat throughout the entire game! People also had to watch out for seagulls as they swoop down like a battalion of bombers ready to 'release' on people. Quite scary! Haha!
Thank you Phil for getting us the tickets and Harry for bringing us to experience what its like in a baseball game. Really grateful that we managed to get pretty good seats as well. THANK YOU!! :D
Does this look familiar? (;
Spencer.
