Bart.

Today things were a little different!

We headed downtown via public transport instead with Harry and Li Soon. Thanks for bringing us! (:

This is the bus service! They look like busses in the movies. Haha.

They use Clipper cards here. Which is something like our EZlink cards. Even the tapper looks similar!

So we headed for lunch at Glen Park after taking bus service number 44 from just outside of school. We had mexican food for lunch! Well from here onwards I have no more photos because I realized at the restaurant that my memory card was FULL! So you'll have to head to Lionel's to see the photos!

After lunch we went to take the Bart.

What is a Bart you may ask? Its the train system here. In Singapore we call it MRT and here its called... Bart.

So the idea is technically the same. Just that this one has cushion seats instead of plastic ones. It also seats more like a bus than a an MRT.

So we took the bart all the way down to Powell station which is the heart of the city. Just outside you can find Forever 21 building, GAP, an Apple store, etc. Its a huge shopping area. Lots of branded stuff as well.

So we spent the whole afternoon walking around, snapping pictures (lionel), sight seeing, coffee. Headed back pretty early cause dinner was early. Bought a bad of stuff from old navy too. Can checkout the video we just posted. Haha!
