The day started pretty early at 9 where Steve came to pick us up. Met Peter who was also working with us that day.

Became pretty good friends right away!

When we got to the high school, we unloaded the stuff and got cracking. Started setting up camera and the entire system for the first show at 2pm.

We took about an hour plus to set up everything nicely before we breaked for lunch and finished up everything before 2pm.

This was my job!

I was in charge of controlling the camera control units (CCU). I had to control the exposure of cameras 1, 2, and 3 so that they don't become to bright or too dark that we cannot capture any footage.

Phil was director and so I had to keep watch of the same monitor he is looking at as it contained all the camera footages and I will adjust the exposure of each camera accordingly. Camera 1 is operated by Peter, Camera 2 by Charlie, Camera 3 by Alex and Camera 4 by Harry.

So when the show is ongoing, things are very intense as we have to keep watch of everything that is going on and what Phil is directing so its very crucial to learn to listen to instruction in situations like these. It is similar to what we learn during live sound but not so similar as well.

Lionel was in charge of sound!

The first show went pretty okay accept for minor hiccups here and there. It was kind of like a 'rehearsal'. After which we headed over to Harry's place for dinner!

BARBECUE~

Amazing gas-operated barbecue pit. Does the job as well as a charcoal one.

And on top of that!.. CHINESE TAKE OUT! I love the packaging. Just like the movies.

So after dinner and a bit of nua-ing, it was back to round 2 of the show!

This time things were better except that the dvd player went a little crazy at the beginning and therefore we missed a bit of the footage. But everything after that flowed pretty well as compared to the first session. After the show ended, we immediately burned a few copies in this dvd burner. Amazing the way this thing burns. Copying at its fastest!

So after the show, it was pack up! The show ended at about 10+. We left the school at 12. Took pretty long to pack up too. After shower and all, slept at 2.30. It was a crazy day.

Well Church Service and Downtown tomorrow! Whoohoo!
