Nua again today! Hahaha! Couldn't wake up as early as I wanted to.
Thanks to Harry for giving us an off-day today!
Fisherman's Wharf was our destination today!
Too 44 down to Glen Park and then Bart to Powell to get starbucks first!
Starbucks is so affordable here that we keep drinking. This is no good! Haha.
We wanted to take the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf directly but it was packed! So we decided to head there via bus 8X. Managed to find our way around and got on the bus! So exciting!
The journey was actually faster than we expected! We alighted at pier 35, the last stop of 8X before its loop back begins. So we walked further down to the famous..
Here's there aquarium!
Wanted to go visit but we didn't have much time cause we left the dorm late. Next time! Haha!
And oh! the famous Golden Gate Bridge from afar!
We had lunch at The Crab House! My friend said we had to try the crab so we did!
This is Crab Chowder! I know it looks nothing much but it was pretty good!
This is Crab Cioppino ! There was a lot of crab meat in there! Tasted fabulous!
Last but not least, their signature roasted crab! We only order half a crab but it was filling cause of the other stuff too. Fantastic garlic sauce it was roasted with. Eating was such a breeze with our skills already attained from eating chili crab back home. Hehe!
Lionel is definitely enjoying his crab. Look at the satisfaction in his face!
So after a filling lunch, we had to walk around. Of course we do! So we walked all the way through until the Ghirardelli factory. We managed to see a lot of interesting things along the way. Rows of shops that resemble the street shops of phuket, many places of attractions and souvenir shops! We've also learnt of some stuff that we would wanna do the next time we come back here. Like bike across the Golden Gate Bridge, visit the aquarium, etc!
Oh and look! At least theres one somewhere around the world! Miss this place!
So since we didn't take the cable car here.. We decided to take it back!
But look at the que..
We waited for an hour.. 1 HOUR!! But it was worth the experience!
Lionel's half frozen face from the cold. HAHA!
The view was great! I really love the up and down hills here in San Francisco. Photos cannot capture the depth and degree of the slopes but its really an eye satisfying view. Both architecturally and from a normal perspective. (I speak as though I'm studying architecture) HAHA! The cable car operator was an entertaining one so it made the ride really worth it too!
After we reached the end of the cable car ride, we decided to walk around downtown for a little while more. Stepped into this really indie store. Okay maybe not indie but random store because it sold the weirdest stuff like..
But I bought a nice sling bag from there. It fits my macbook! I like it! (:
Not the cheapest bag though.. But its nice. Haha!
Tomorrow is back to work. Time to work on our projects! Or maybe theres more stuff to do?! Who knows?! We'll see!
I shall leave you with this!
Spencer.
