A day is just a day.

Another studio day!

However today we tested out the 5.1 with movies and explored its various components.

Speech is always at the centre, followed by the surround music and FX layers.

We've also tried working on the projects given to us. The 1LightMedia logo and the shopping pall ambience. We're supposed to do up the 1LightMedia logo in surround 5.1. It is challenging when you're actually working on the project itself because you're unsure of a lot of things. We didn't know how the surround works inside logic and the panning was like a whole new world. Other than that, we also had composers block because we didn't know how to make the thing epic enough. Hah!

Though the projector shows Facebook, you can see logic open on my screen cause the projector is very hard on the eyes.
